C70 is a 70-carbon fullerene serving as an n-type semiconductor and electron acceptor in solar cells. Deposited via thermal evaporation, it functions as an electron transport layer in organic and perovskite photovoltaic devices in both planar and bulk heterojunction architectures.

C70 provides superior visible-spectrum absorption versus C60, enhanced charge transport through π-π interactions, and efficient omnidirectional electron transfer via its three-dimensional LUMO structure. High electron affinity and mobility make it ideal for organic photovoltaic applications. Available in 98.0% - 99.5% purity grades.
