This material creates superior energy level alignment enabling improved hole extraction and enhanced charge transport efficiency to the anode of the solar cell.

0PATPA is also thought to enhance the crystallization process of perovskite materials enabling reduced interface stress and consequent structural defects that could degrade device performance.*
