Dec 2, 2009: Unidym and Nano-C Enter Exclusive License Agreement for Fullerene Derivatives Used in Solar Cells. Nano-C, Inc. of Westwood, Massachusetts announced today that it has entered an exclusive license agreement with Unidym, Inc. of Sunnyvale, California for patents covering fullerene derivatives for use in photovoltaics. The license provides Nano-C exclusive rights to U.S. Patent No. 5,739,376 and foreign counterparts in the field of photovoltaics.

Nov 4, 2009: Materials that Power Our World was presented at the 22nd Annual NREL Industry Growth Forum 2009, Denver, Colorado November 3-5, 2009 (www.cleanenergyforum.com). Nano-C was one of 34 companies selected from a pool of 285 candidate companies to present the clean-energy opportunities enabled by their businesses. The selections were made by a distinguished panel of venture investors and energy industry related professionals. Nearly 600 investors, entrepreneurs, scientists and others participated in this forum. January 26, 2009: Dr. Michael Strano of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to Join Nano-C's Scientific Advisory Board. Nano-C, Inc., leading developer of nanostructured carbon materials, today announced that Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Dr. Michael Strano, a renowned carbon nanotube scientist and among the top 1% of highly cited researchers, has joined Nano-C’s Scientific Advisory Board.

September 15, 2008: Nano-C Awarded Fundamental Patents for Carbon Nanotube and Fullerene Manufacturing. Nano-C, Inc., leading developer of nanostructured carbon materials, today announced that it has been issued U.S. Patent Nos. 7,335,344 and 7,396,520 by the Department of Commerce’s United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Nacalai USA Signs Collaboration Agreement with Nano-C to Develop Industrial Production of Nanostructured Carbon Materials. Nacalai USA will provide Nano-C with its expertise in liquid chromatographic purification of fullerenes and other nanostructured carbon materials.
